Garlics

Hey people!

Time for another update. The other day I was pluckin' some garlics and what was left was the base that held those ''sub-garlics'' together. Lol I can't think of what to call them. It was very interesting-looking, very cool with the stalk and all. So I thought why not take a few shots of it. Some parts of it look very alien-pod-like.

The 1st three photos are taken with just the light yellow incandescent lights (for the lighting that is) in my room which gives them the warm orange colour.

These 2 photos are taken with my study lamp. Hence the cream white colour of the onion - which technically is the actual colour of the garlic base with a little bit of stripes. The blue colour at the background comes from the blue objects that were around the garlic base - my pencil case, stapler etc.

In College

Hey people,

These photos were taken a couple of weeks ago or so in college (which is at Sunway University College). The flowers were taken in the morning. Looking through my photos, I realised that most of them are plants... which is alright. I guess it's they are easiest to work with and they stay still. Lol. Nah that's not the main reason. Although... (haha...kidding). After my A2 examinations, I'll prolly take photos of more varied? subjects. But for now, plants are the bomb.

Little Weeds (Part II)

As promised, this is a continuation of the Little Weeds post. Weeds are pretty darn unique-lookin' aren't they. It's just that most of us haven't really looked at it close enough and admire it a little. I hope I did the weeds proud with these. :) Couple of them are not really sharp as they were taken when the winds were blowing. Lol that's not too smart but it's alright I guess.

I think the dried brown weed flowers give a nice pallete.

This one is actually pretty tiny. The diameter of the flower is prolly equal to that of a 5 cent coin or less.

I took a couple of shots in college the other day - around the little flower beds and stuff. So I'm stoked to show you guys. Will be posting those up soon.

Lunch with Friends

Evening people!

So... I took a few snaps during lunch with a few good ol' friends o' mine today at Dragon-i's (Is that correct?). :) The food was great. Some of the photos that I'm about to show you are pretty spontaneous so... yeap. I think I'll let the photos do the talkin'.

As for the continuation of the weed photos, they'll be up after this post instead.

Little Weeds

Hey people,

Time for another photo! Right, this time I went outside (the little porch area) and took a few snaps. So I was looking for things to shoot and then I decided to take photos of WEEDS, yes weeds. Basically, just picture someone taking a photo of a weed, sitting on the ground, having the camera so close to the ground. Lol. Yeap that's what I did. Some of the things I took looked pretty cool though. Weeds have never been so... interesting. :) I'll show you a couple of them first and save the rest for another day.

This one is a purple flower weed. We see these everywhere.

If only I knew what the names of these weeds are. That'd be cool.

Hey people, if you're reading this, I'm probably pretty glad that you're taking the time to visit my little photography blog o' mine. Truth be told, I'm all new to this... Photography...thing. It's all new to me (but taking pictures in general is NOT new to me... hahaha I'm familiar with a camera if you know what I mean).
